Just two fights and less than a year later, pacquiao made him quit on his stool after completely dominating him. Mayweather fought Hatton in a tough fight before finally dispatching him in the tenth round. They fought at 147 where Hatton never did anything. Manny knocked down Hatton twice before knocking him out cold in the second round at his best weight where he was pretty dominant at 140. As with Oscar, mosely was already a completely shot fighter before mayweather decided to take him on in a snoozefest where the only real excitement came when mosely was within microseconds of knocking mayweather out and had him clinging on to mosely for dear life. Manny fought him not too long after and floored him in the second round i believe and spent the rest of the fight chasin mosely around in a one sided beating. And last but most certainly not least Miguel cotto. Manny fought him at his best weight, where he had only lost one time to Antonio margarito who was suspected of using loaded gloves for that fight. He was coming off a good win against clottey and looked strong and well prepared. Manny beat the ever loving crap out of him and literally had him begging his corner not to make him go back out after the tenth round. His face was a disfigured mess and Manny floored him a couple times en route to a TKO. Floyd fought him at 154 where he hadnt really accomplished much of anything L, and had a hard time with the in and out style of cotto, which is also the same style in which Manny fights, albeit with much more power and speed and defense and footwork and left handed and basically every other aspect which makes Manny so much better than cotto. Everyone is right, triangle theories dont work but what I'm getting at is you can tell who is a better fighter by common opponents. I'd have to say Manny fought the better versions of almost all, if not all of them and beat them much worse. Guess who else had an in and out style that troubled duckweather? De la Hoya that's who. De la Hoya should have at least gotten the draw. Manny said it best himself, he could easily beat mayweather and I can't wait for the day Floyd grows a pair of balls and fights him for 100 million dollars. #fight pacquiao #sign the contract
Mix in some paragraphs my man. You make it hard to read your stuff...

I have to say that Porter was exposed quite badly by Brook.

He is a swarmer with no real plan B.

Nice guy, but beating Paulie was probably as good as it is ever going to get for him.

so he should keep his mouth shut and risk throwing away a chance of fighting manny? why is it wrong for him to say he can beat manny? he's just trying to get that pay day like everyone else. i mean look at rios, there's a thread yesterday with rios saying if he fights manny again the outcome will be different, but do u believe him? LOL. mofo's is just trying to get that pay day, nothing more nothing less.

I agree with you on Marquez because he was in his prime at his most natural weight when pac n him fought the 1st 2 bouts. As for Cotto, i disagree with you, Cotto was just coming off the Clottey decision which was a horrible call bcuz i seen him get bested that night, i just chalk it up as another Top Rank decision. Hatton came in with a horrible gameplan and was already proven as beatable, if Pac wouldve caught him qhen he was undefeated and viewed as unbeatable id give em that. Mosley and oscar, Pac shouldve caught em earlier. Thats one thing ill never understand, why Pac tried to get a floyd fight beating guys floyd already beat. He shouldve been aiming for the big fights before anybody else beat em.
as far as cotto-clottey... what was your scorecard?
So pac beat hatton cuz hatton came in with "a horrible gameplan and was proven beatable". So pac, who came UP from 135 lbs to fight ODH, who came down from 154 lbs, had to "catch them" earlier? Mind you that pac before his one fight at 135 lbs, fought at 130 lbs. Why would a WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION, shane mosley, want to fight 130 lbs champ? Why would ODH, a LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP, want to fight a 135 lber for? Well, after ODH was no longer champion, they decided to fight.
