Beat Benitez, Hagler, Duran and Hearns. That's insane.
Most definitely. It's worth noting that SRL took lot of these legend on his record at the right time, but the names are amazing.

        • Should have made the poll public so we could all laugh at the 8 people that voted for Floyd and piss our sides at the 3 that voted for Wlad.

              Close fight, yes.

I can't say Hagler won, though. He was totally unable to assert his will in that fight, unable to hurt Leonard, and unable to win enough rounds.

But even if we call it a draw, SRL's resume is unmatched.

I agree with you tau. But some judge saw 118-110.

                • Based on that list, I rank them on their Overall Resume and Achievements. This is my opinion, so don't hate on me.

                  1. Roberto Duran
                  2. Sugar Ray Leonard
                  3. Manny Pacquiao
                  4. Roy Jones jr.
                  5. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
                  6. Marvin Hagler
                  7. Pernell Whitaker
                  8. Lennox Lewis
                  9. Thomas Hearns
                  10. Wladimir Klitschko

                  • Why rank Duran above Leonard? Even at LW, he doesn't have the great wins Leonard has. And as a WW, he lost to everyone Leonard beat (Benitez, Hearns KO!, and Hagler)

And Leonard made him quit in the ring. Low point of humanity. Just scum. Hateful, humiliation that was a dishonor to his country, his family, his women and children.

                    • There are only really 3 names which deserve to make the list of absolute greatness.

Manny Pacquaio - For possibly the most entertaining style, for probably the best offensive style fighting in history to this point, for being a warrior mentality and peoples champion outside.

Wladimir Klitschko - For displaying the most thorough and utmost dominance at HW in history. For shifting the entire focal point of boxing to the opposite side of the world and sending an entire country of a few hundred million people into obscurity after 150 years of dominance. For revolutionising HW boxing, transforming it from a fight into a game of chess.

Roy Jones Jr. - For showing us the most complete and formidable combination of speed, reflexes, movement, intelligence and power both defensive and offensive, ever before seen in boxing, highly entertaining style. There has never been a more complete fighter.
