Broner is going to sweep the ****ing floor with molina lol. Perfect style for broner, taylor was a much bigger threat he has ok speed and decent pop. Molina is verry slow and telegraphed people act like broner isnt one of the best at timing and counterpunching which is what got him here in the first place. Hes going to dismantle molina. Just look at what mickey bey did to him for 9 3/4ths rounds. Perfect stylistic matchup for broner. Soto would have been better fight but hes with goldenboy and haymon wants nothing to do with gb atm from the looks of it.
Broner vs Molina Jr is a pointless fight

When was the last time fighters of this magnitude have fought on primetime network tv?Haymon has so lowered fan expectations that Broner-Molina and Garcia-Peterson is regarded as an astonishing launch of his NBC program, and we should all be on our knees begging forgiveness for doubting him.
Broner has already had two bounce-back fights. He really should be fighting a top contender now if he's still supposed to be a serious fighter. Not facing a guy who's not even in the top 10.
Are the fights the best? No, they are solid. Broner-Molina I can understand complaints, but unless you really regard Broner that high it's still a good fight. The other fights are very solid HBO/Showtime main even type fights. Quit complaining for no reason.Comment

An exciting fight to start a new program on a new television station is probably a good idea. Molina isn't that good but he'll come to fight and Broner ***8220;should***8221; look good beating him. Broner looking good is also part of the plan. Let's face it, Broner isn't that good and the options were slim also.
Soto would've been a solid opponent since he beat Molina in his last fight.
Herrera would've been good but Broner isn't going to fight him.
Khabib, Algieri, Provodnikov, Vargas and Matthysse weren't possible because of the promoter issue.
Garcia and Peterson are going to fight each other so they're out.
Dulorme is another solid opponent that was possible.Comment

The fact that they are on NBC in America doesn't make a difference to me. I'm judging the fights on their own merit. When was the last time fighters of this magnitude have fought on primetime network tv?

Broner vs molina is really nothing more than a showcase for broner on NBC. Ure right it's really not a good fightComment

AL Haymon is not fooling ANYONE. The casuals don't know/care, and the hardcore fans see right through this.Got to hand it to Al Haymon though - he is good at building up his fighters while taking minimal risk. This fight has a lot of the fans fooled when in reality it will not be competitive. I'm not a Broner fan so I would LOVE to be wrong but I see Broner handing out a 5 or 6 round beating to Molina and looking good in the process. No disrespect to Molina but he is not a top level fighter.Comment

And you dont think SHowtime or HBO would jump to headline these ifghts?
For some reason Im still thinking the lot of you are more critical when Haymons involved. You dont even realize it.Comment

Almost all of these Haymon fights should have happened last year or earlier and they would have been on HBO or Showtime. I don't get any of these channels so it doesn't matter to me.
I'm looking at it purely from a sporting perspective. This should have been Broner's comeback fight after losing, instead he fought Carlos Molina and then Emmanuel Taylor. He needed two tune-ups for another tune-up.
Meantime, John Molina has lost his momentum by losing his last two fights.Comment

So you clearly understand that these fight were being saved for network tv then? While fans may not like it, to build the sport it was the right move.Almost all of these Haymon fights should have happened last year or earlier and they would have been on HBO or Showtime.
