Broner vs Molina Jr is a pointless fight

I mean seriously why is Adrien Broner fighting a guy that has lost his last 2 fights? This would have been acceptable before the Emmanuel Taylor fight as a tuneup, but right now it achieves absolutely nothing. This is actually a downgrade from Emmanuel Taylor really. I would have taken Humberto Soto over this nonsense.

People wanted this fight a year or 2 ago. Haymon makes it now and it's confused people into thinking it's a great match up now. Same goes for a lot of Haymon's fights.

He's lowered the expectations of the fans so much that this is considered a great fight.

Yep, but Soto was actually a threat since he at least won his last fight

there trying to make Broner look amazing, i hope it really back fires, Molina has already taken enough punishment in boxing

Got to hand it to Al Haymon though - he is good at building up his fighters while taking minimal risk. This fight has a lot of the fans fooled when in reality it will not be competitive. I'm not a Broner fan so I would LOVE to be wrong but I see Broner handing out a 5 or 6 round beating to Molina and looking good in the process. No disrespect to Molina but he is not a top level fighter.

Yup! So is danny vs Peterson. That could end up being a good fight but it's pointless!!! PBC isn't putting on nothing great. Thurman Guerrero is good.

Its a dangerous fight wither way. Soto would have been the better choice IMO. I still am ok with this fight.

If only Al was giving us Rios-Alvarado, Golovkin-Murray, and Klitschko-Jennings.

It's not a pointless fight. Maybe in terms of overall legacy you could say that it's pointless. But it is a good action fight that should play well on network TV.
