So well put! That's what I'm talking about. There are plenty of boxers who use distance but they don't run. Running like he demonstrated shows no skill.

He is better than Lara for sure.

Best examples for this are James Toney, George Benton, and JCC sr. in my opinion if you're looking for people who could fu$k you up in the pocket while barely ever getting hit.

James Toney wasn't blessed with the Athleticism/Footwork of Roy Jones Jr and it was exposed when they fought.

Fighters don't pick a fight style...AT FIGHT STYLE PICKS THEM! Meaning if you don't have the fancy footwork you then compensate with other things, if you don't have a great reach you have to find other ways to attack your opponent

I always tell people to head to a boxing gym and just go a few rounds...IT IS A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE and it will make you respect the sport and fighters A LOT MORE. This BS of fans talking about "DON'T RUN..."ENGAGE MORE..." "STAND AND FIGHT" that is all easier to say when you're NOT THE ONE GETTING HIT!

What made Ali and Pep LEGENDS was their insane footwork! Sadly in boxing today a lot of the Trolling Idiots on this forum would consider those Legends "RUNNERS"

There's a big difference between a Pep/Ali and a Lara. They used movement without leaping halfway across the ring out of danger. They knew what they were doing and skill was involved. Flat out circling the ring without throwing punches makes a mockery of the sport.

And here's an idea. If you go into a boxing gym, get in a ring and find yourself running, either learn how to slip and use true defense or pick another line of work.

Defense, according to poster Golovkin, is Margarito. Face-first punching.

Mayweather stood in front of Mosley and Canelo all night, and some people call that running.
And Most of the time in the Canelo fight Mayweather was doing the walking Canelo down.

So my thing is, what is really considered running?

Again this is why some "FANS" need to do it because they think it is SO EASY

As for Pep and Ali, they both used the entire ring if they had to.
