If Billy wins this (which I expect him to ) then he can unify against the winner of Lee/Quillin. I think he beats either and if he does.....then he can fight GGG (Riding with Billy all the way) and be the real MW king.

^^ If Billy did this he'd have the starting of a very great resume
It's not outrageous to think that he would've taken into consideration his IBF rankings and WBO rankings and Sturm not taking his chance.

But I thought the whole reason he took the step aside was to build up a potential fight with Lee at a Stadium or Quillin with Haymon money?

If he's banking on a unification, there's only guarantee in Golovkin.

Cotto does what he wants and Haymon does what he wants. There's absolutely no guarantee he could unify with anybody else.
And a purse bid with the IBF would be way lower than a purse bid with the WBO because they have the fear of Roc Nation bidding and if Roc Nation won again, they can either fight for a vacant or take a sizable purse if they go with it this tie instead of vacating

Yeah... gotta bring in Mora. After all, he was on The Contender. Not many knew that.

Very good fight, i am happy that Saunders get his shot despite WBO BS about Quillin. N'JIKAM wins BY DECISION IMO.

Outside of the knockdowns, HNN was outboxing Peter Quillin. The scores were ridiculous because they gave Quillin rounds where he didn't score a knockdown, but was outboxed.

I think when GB and Lemieux look at a potential fight with HNN, they look more so at HNN's fight with Curtis Stevens. From a risk/reward perspective, I'm sure GB will pass on that fight for now. David's still young and can make good money vs Heiland & Johnson.

Another thing to consider is that HNN has improved since the Quillin fight. After that loss he spent the better of a year getting work in the US, alot of it at the Mayweather gym which is the first time in his career he's consistently had that level of sparring and more recently he's set his camps in southern Cali. Currently he's in Russia working with Dmitry Chudinov getting him ready for Chris Eubank Jr.

If Saunders opts for the N'Dam fight and were to win, and if Lee beats Quillin, we'd be looking at a definite unification from there because both guys would fancy it and there'd be big money in the pot for a stadium fight in Ireland, where BJS would be happy to go. Trouble is, Lee loses to Quillin and N'Dam is too cute for Saunders.

BJS wins it via a unanimous decision or majority. Hopefully he don't pass on the fight so at least if he wins the IBF strap he's got a huge unification and money fight in Dublin/London with Lee.

Don't fall for N'Dam hype. BJS cuteness and savyness in the ring is highy underrated. Remember Billy Joe came up through the ranks the correct way and he's well schooled in the dark arts and can steal rounds without doing much. Watch his previous fights yes he might have been floored by a bum but he is almost always first to the punch.

First, I'm not so sure that he can win vs N'dam or Quillin. But saying that he can become real MW king after fighting GGG... Thanks for a good lough
If he ever grow a pair to even enter in the ring with GGG all he can do is become another Good Boy

I'd like to see BJS take this fight.

But like most on here I suspect he will be pushed down the WBO route by Warren.

Stuff like this frustrates me because unification fights are what boxing should be about.

I'd love to see Saunders VS Lee in a unification fight in the future.

Warren is likely more interested in the revenue from a Eubank Jnr re-match etc.
