The IBF is giving Saunders a guaranteed title shot. He (or Warren) would be an idiot for not taking that.
I got bombarded for suggesting he won't get the next WBO shot due to ****** boxing politics and behind the scenes fuckery.

Ironclad this and Winner has to by contract fight Saunders.

I figure this. He's clearly prioritizing money over a title fight, if he was he would've already taken the title fight instead of stepping aside for money. if he was worried about his status being bypassed, he would've taken the purse bid, but he didn't.

6 figures is 6 figures, but you put your position of the title up in the air again compared to guaranteed before the step aside.

Now if he's in that position, why would he take the IBF title shot when the reasoning for him stepping aside is the winner of the WBO shot will be a bigger money fight, especially if it's Lee? Even if it's Quillin, he might get a bit more money. I doubt Haymon would want to go to purse bids again if Quillin wins.

If he takes the IBF fight thinking an WBO unification would be even bigger, that's even risiker because then you have to win your fight, give up your claim to the WBO title and hoping the WBO winner will unify with you.... because they don't have to now.

Considering that Billy is quite smart, I think it's more likely he took the money to step aside knowing it was very likely(or perhaps just knew for a fact...people talk) that he'd get the shot against N'dam for the vacant title.

If Billy wins this (which I expect him to ) then he can unify against the winner of Lee/Quillin. I think he beats either and if he does.....then he can fight GGG (Riding with Billy all the way) and be the real MW king.

^^ If Billy did this he'd have the starting of a very great resume

I agree. Wouldn't surprise me if Warren talks BJS into passing on it though, hes a slimeball.

Imagine Saunders and Lee pull through and the unification in Ireland will be something else.

have the fight in england get crooked judges.
that's basically the only way BJS wins.

ndam would win at least 10 rounds.

Ndam beats both. He is clearly a better boxer than Billy in all aspects. Lemieux could get a k.o. but I don't see n'Dam giving him the chance. watch his Quillin fight, Quillin set up some nice shots and Lemieux doesn't box like that. He is a head Hunter not a thinker.

N'Dam vs GGG is what I want. He offers everything GGG needs. If he beats him he is certified. It would show us how GGG does a gainst a good boxer.

It's a difficult decision for BJS and Warren. If they go for this fight, they give up the mandatory with the winner of Lee and Quillin.

If they go for N'dam and Lee beats then its a bad decision

That would be the perfect fight after all of this.

Saunders wins IBF, Lee retains WBO. Sets up a massive unification fight.

That would probably be a stadium fight in Ireland which would be worth allot of money to both sides.

If GGG can get him in the ring. Remember Hassan dropping his interim Wba belt when ordered to fight regular champ GGG. Not for the first time, when the regular belt was vacant HNN passed on fighting GGG for it. They even offered him Monaco more last year which is like Ndams home turf
