Everyone wants to see a heavyweight undisputed unification, finally after all these years. A loss for Wilder would not even really affect his career in the long run, a loss to an ATG won't impact him negatively as he is still young and can be the heir to Wlad's throne. But becoming undisputed would be a nice boost for Wlad's resume.
No one is currently in Klitschko's league. Wilder proved enough to be in the conversation as probably the most serious contender. His footwork and balance need improvement, as does his overcommitment of the right hand. However, there has been noticeable improvement in these areas over the last few fights. I still believe he needs 2-3 more fights before fighting Klitschko, if he is to stand a real chance.
