Lucas is shy ever since Danny cracked his chin. Even Molina dropped him.

        On Ruslan:

"My strategy against him will be to make sure to box and keep moving, that is why sparring has been really important in my training." ~ Lucas

I'm pretty excited about this... I think if it comes down to will and bombs Provo has this. If Matthysse's plan is to move, potshot, and pick his spots it could be interesting assuming Provodnikov hasn't learned too little, or too much. Honestly, I'm hoping for a war with a decisive ending though.

I'll say Provo by KO, but I wouldn't bet any organs on it. (edit: On paper Matthysse should win, but I just think he'll get lured into s shootout that will go wrong for him. No matter how it goes Provodnikov ends the fight looking like a cartoon character.)

The Crawford fight looks to be a good one as well. I'll check the Jr / Fonfara fight in a few days. A good night for boxing all around.

i'm pretty sure they've only watched the danny & molina fights once (based on how they describe how those fights went, which is almost 180 degree difference from how those fights actually played out)

i.e. "Danny out-classed Matthysse" when he actually didn't do anything close to that
i.e. "Lucas struggled badly vs Molina" when actually he dominated nearly every round, even the rounds he was dropped in, also ignoring one of the knockdowns was a punch behind the head.

once they saw lucas not going completely HAM from round 1, they busted out the vaseline and started ******* off and never watched the fight again

rose tinted glasses applies heavily to garcia fans/matthysse haters

Lucas' boxing will look similar to the Judah fight, where he used a ton of lateral movement. Lucas doesn't pot-shot when he boxes, he throws power counter-shots, and he's also really good at slipping the hook (that's why Danny wasn't able to land his nasty left hook on Matthysse at any point in that fight, and actually used more right-hands)

I predict 1 punch or a strong flurry from Provo will be the deciding factor...and will lead to Lucas breaking down... eventually leading to a KO
