I'm really hoping to see something special from Matthysse in this fight.

This could potentially be it for him. It's hard to imagine him ever getting near the top again if he loses. Garcia was his big chance, and he blew it, and right or not people will always hold Judah and Alexander against him. If he loses to Provodnikov now, he's pretty much the overrated hypejob who never did anything, and it won't matter if such a label is unfair.

I want to see him tear Ruslan apart. I know he's a better fighter, but he needs to prove it in the ring.

actually, the more i think of this fight as it closes in, i just realized matthysse LOVES to go to the body, i think the ref saves provo late having been beaten him badly to the body(although his face will likely be a mess)

              Should be a great fight.
Ruslan just cuts and swells way to easy.
Think the doc will stop it somewhere around the 9th rd.
Not counting out the Siberian Rocky, if Molina can get inside, Ruslan is going to have his chances.
I just think Lucas has the more complete skillset.

Maybe to protect his hands? Must put a lot of stress punching that hard.

Correct, I read that he had hand issues when he was younger. However, he's always worn powerlocks if I remember correctly.
