Sure I do. Would love to see him in there with the Krusher and the fights leading to that. I think that's a great matchup and I would happily fork up some ppv money to see it, or even planes and hotels and tickets to go see it live.

Thing is, I'm not gonna' get my panties in a twist if it doesn't happen next weekend. Both guys have some time left on their clock before it turns into the Pac/May fiasco imo.

Further, if Ward decided to stay put at SMW, I'll still be his fan and still watch his fights. I just may not consider him to be as great as I would have had he gone north one division and cleaned house (which is the result I find most likely in that case).

Finally, I feel the same way about Golovkin moving up to face Ward, the only difference being that I think if GGG goes north, he loses whereas if Ward goes north, he wins.

His own trainer,Virgil hunter said that he needs 2 tune ups,before he gets back to fighting top level competition. He's had 2 fights in the last three years and he's lost his p4p ranking,so he hasnt really been that impressive since the super six. I'd understand that you'd prefer him not to move up in weight but don't act like he can't. He fought at 178 in the amatures,and he's been saying how he'd move up since 2011. We both have different opinions on who'd win the fight. obviously I favor golovkin and you favor ward,but I think that we can both agree that the fight has to happen eventually. If it doesn't, ward doesn't have anything left to prove at 168,and it will be years before someone comes out that could give him a legitimate challenge at that weight. So wouldn't you want him to face the winner of kovalev Stevenson, and become the unified world champion at 168,and 175?

He was looking for a Tuneup coming back from his Shoulder Injury and HBO rejected him taking a Tuneup...then HBO decided to OVERPAY for the Edwin Rodriguez fight and Ward brushed off the Tuneup and stepped with with Edwin Rodriguez.

Edwin Rodriguez was the tuneup lol. You're not comparing GGG to this guy? I thought GGG is the biggest fight for Ward at 168 and main reason to stick around?

Not sure about that. Of Golovkin, Stevenson, and Kovalev, Sergey is the one I'd give the best chance of beating Ward. He has good feet and doesn't need to set himself like the other two do.

Ward would have to be wary against Golovkin, but he'd have to be super fucking careful against Kovalev.
