Seems like a PR stunt to me.

Why would someone who constantly complains about Arum speaking to the media about negotiations film a private conversation and leak it? What's the logic behind this? He said nothing of significance.

Floyd doesn't want the fight. He just trying to sabotage it and announce a fight with Cotto. After watching that 10 second clip, I've concluded as much.

Floyd released a video, which even you have to admit, seemed ingenuine if taken at face value.

In the link, Pacquiao was asked by reporters what he thinks the progress of the fight and he said Floyd would probably announce it soon.

There's actually a difference there.

Floyd has maintained that he wanted the fight. Rather you acknowledge that or not is your problem. How The hell a 10 second video negate what he's already said publicly? That makes zero sense.

I could see if he mentioned other guys that he wants to fight, and THEN released this video. But that hasn't happened. He's stated that it's Manny the entire time, but the fans have taken that to mean anyone BUT Manny.

If the fight happens then there will be no narrative as everyone will just be happy that it's happening! Aside from a few trolls, nobody is going to care WHY the fight happened so long as it happens!

On the flipside, if it doesn't happen the blame will fall solely on Floyd.
