its utterly preposterous to suggest Showtime would exercise their out clause on the deal if it wasn't profitable. Seriously dude? why else wouldn't showtime exercise their out clause?

I said that months ago. the only plausible reason I've read that isn't the case was last week saying they don't want Floyd to go to HBO and make the fight there.

First, it's preposterous because you don't know what's in the contract. You're essentially doing the same thing you're criticizing pac fans of doing; that is, speculating about something that they don't have any information on. Second, do you really believe floyd's attorney would just give them an out clause? Have you ever heard of liquidated damages? That is a much more reasonable (albeit still speculative) assessment of why Showtime would not terminate a contract that has lost them millions (as per Dan Rafael and other legitimate sources).

I won't address the demand stuff because I never defended that argument. Just pointing out that you're doing the same exact thing you criticize others of doing.

The over/under on this fight is 3.15 million buys. If the fight hits that mark and they charge $100 per buy, then Pac is looking at around $64 million just off of PPV revenue alone.
