And I've seen guys tell us their version of what Floyd said AFTER that and they are SURE of it..... which just so happens to negate him saying that "we have to make this happen". It's strange and weird but again, par for the course.

How does Bob have more power to kill the fight than Floyd?? The deal is too far along for a crazy old man to kill it with a few ridiculing words about Floyd. Good or bad, Bob is the only one talking publicly and pushing for it to happen. Only Espinoza is saying, the TV deal is nowhere close, even though HBO has publicly said they're ready to go. So who is Espinoza really waiting on???? It has to be Floyd! At the end of the day, only he can stop it.

SHO can't throw Floyd under the bus. They still have to sell his fights. So they'll most likely fall on their swords and take the blame for Floyd.

There was actually Floyd fans on this board who made the statement that Pacquiao and Arum needed to keep quite due to the fact that It Is making Floyd angry which could potentially halt negotiations.

These are the same people that blamed Pacquiao for not really wanting the fight due to the fact that he wasn't aggressive enough and wasn't speaking up.

You guys are asking why did he tape it? To show he is trying to make the fight. Do you blame Floyd after all the nonsense Arum and Co shoveled through the media? Arum was setting it up to have Pacquiao fight Vargas by making it seem like Floyd didn't want to fight because of a fake contract he didn't sign. Arum has done it since after the 1st negotiations failed due to Team Pacquiao.

That's not the public perception at all. Not even in the slightest. And if Floyd is really planning on fighting Cotto again at 154.5 on May 2nd, he's going to have to blink first seeing as how Pac won't be fighting until May 30 at the earliest... probably some time in mid-late June. Plus he has new challenges this time around he didn't have in any other fight- GBP is no longer working with him, so he has to find a new promoter with the expertise of putting together mega fights (who besides GBP or TR can boast that?). And he'll be competing against the most popular Mexican fighter in the sport on a Mexican holiday, who's fighting on 'free' TV in front of 65K fans.

That fight has financial bomb written all over it, especially since Showtime will have to pony up $8-10 million for Cotto on top of the $32 million guarantee for Floyd. I'm sure Moonves and company are thrilled to hear that.

So now you know why Donnie Flomo is getting desperate and posting wiretapped 'negotiation' vines on social media. But anyone with sense won't fall for that nonsense.
