yes he did. it was really a boring fight. if it had gone 12 rounds it would have been one of the worst fights ever but since margarito got ko'd everyone forgets just how awful it was to watch. same thing happened with wlad-pulev.

Every boxer is out for money, no matter what his fans say about him, he wanted money fights. He wanted De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquiao, he didn't want rematches with tough opponents like Williams.

A good example now, Golovkin is getting the 'warrior', 'feared man', Margarito 2006-2008 treatment right now from his fans, same fans who cheered on Margarito. Blinded by the fact that all he wants are big money fights against WW's and JMW's like Cotto, Canelo, Mayweather, Chavez Jr(Worst SMW), and wants nothing to do with risky fights. They claim GGG wants to fight the best MW's, failing to realize that MW sucks and it's not saying much that GGG wants the "best" MW's. Golovkin will end up just like Margarito, a guy who was supposedly feared for like 3 years but really only beat one note worthy fighter and lost every other time he stepped up.
