    Vladimir Hryunov, promoter of Russian heavyweight Alexander Ustinov (31-1, 21KOs) announced the start of negotiations with promoter Ricky Hatton on holding a fight with New Zealander Lucas Browne (22-0, 19KOs). It should be noted that earlier Hryunov reported on the possibility of a fight between Ustinov and Finnish fighter Robert Helenius.

    this is an interesting fight. this is a fight with 2 mammoths. I got to go with Ustinov in this one. he has more experience & is a better fighter. both guys are slow as a turtle but this is a pretty even matchup. this does have snoozefest written all over it...

      Your post has snoozefest written all over it -- what fight are you even referring to? Helenius vs Ustinov? Browne vs Ustinov?

      Never seen Big Daddy in a "snoozefest" myself.

            Ustinov/browne... both guys can punch but neither shows up in the best of shape all the time & I could see lots of clinches in this one... who knows it could turn into a total slugfest. I think helenius/browne would be better...
