Funny seeing the same guys that had Stiverne folding Wilder are now anointing Povetkin as their new savior.

Imagine this, Wilder-Povetkin & Wlad-Fury. Those are some solid heavyweight fights the public can get excited for. I know I would be.
Say Wilder gets between $5-10 million to fight Povetkin in Russia or they take Povetkin over to Vegas and he'd still get a super payday, he'd be an idiot to turn it down. Problem for Deontay, regardless of his last fight, he lives and dies by the knockout.

I'm not one of those guys who say Povetkin will definitely knock him out, but it's definitely a possibility. Even though takam and Charr aren't on Wilder's level.

      Hope these fights happens.
why you keep saying that? that's not true.

all wilder showed in his last fight is that he's finally learning how to fight tall. not very impressive if you ask me. the fact that stiverne was terrible in that fight didn't help either.

takam is more proven than wider, and so are his skills. no doubt about it.

          Because it's true.

How is he or his skills more proved? He took a draw against Perez that should have been a loss and a win over 42 year old Tony Thompson. As well as getting KTFO by Povetkin. How on earth is that better than Wilder?

Wilder beat Malik Scott in 1 round. I'd pick Scott to beat Takam, never mind Stiverne who'd beat every single guy on Takam's resume and Takam himself with no problems. And Wilder schooled him too.

he should've won the perez fight, but whatever.

did you watch the povetkin fight? cuz as i recall he was doing pretty good in that fight. just because he got knocked out by division's no 2 doesn't mean he's bad.

tony thompson was old two years ago when he beat one of the most hyped prospects at the time, david price. then he came back to england and did it again. a year later he beat odlanier sodlis. so maybe, just maybe (despite his age) thompson isn't that bad. quite the opposite, actually. so he lost to wlad, who hasn't?

            @ the malik scott part.

Not sure why people are discounting Mike Perez. Did they not see the Jennings fight?

Perez is a better fighter than Fury. Perez knocked him out in sparing back in Ireland

Povetkin would KO him pretty easily.

Perez is ****, he's overweight and has no cardio, he doesn't train hard at all. Tyson Fury is in way better shape, has way more skill and is physically superior.

Go watch the Jennings fight, its beyond pathetic, even the commentators said he was lazy.
