Froch will destroy Hopkins at 168, Kovalev went easy on hopkins I dont think froch will if they fought but good part on Froch that fight does absolutely nothing for his legacy.

Froch would rather cash out against a bloated JCC Jr. even though he'd almost make the same amount of money fighting 50 year old Hopkins.

Froch probably doesn't want any pesky comparisons to Kovalev. It's not that I think Froch would loose, it's that he could, and he WOULD look very much worse than Kovalev (B-Hop actually exceeded my expectations in that fight). A JCC Jr fight is a safe (well, maybe not for Froch ), big money, 'legacy' preserving play where having to fight B-Hop just to be compared to Kovalev is not.

        Why not fight Kovalev, Froch?

Hopkins survived the last two minutes the other 34 minutes Kovalev went easy on him.

Froch doesn't have anything to prove and if anyone deserves to cash out he certainly does.

Carl, What you are really afraid of is what Hopkins has left in the tank and that you may well look bad - bad enough to lose a decision, so do us all a favor and retire.

Froch legacy will be ruined to some extent anyway by not taking risky fights with Hopkins and GGG while at the peak of his career.

Good call Froch. Hopkins is done man. Even if he wins, he's done. Losing to Kovalev pretty much sealed the deal on this spectacle. Now he's just milking the awe struck.

Yep. Sergey wanted to show his boxing skill against the legend. He got mad when BHop stuck out the tongue though..

Froch wouldn't have an easy time with Hops, he'd be slightly favored due to age, but Nard has a real shot at pulling that upset.

Blatant duck. Just like he ducked Ward.

Also people need to quit with the KOV took it easy on HOP arguments. It was a chess match and KOV threw with full strength every punch. He even mentioned how ****ed up his hands were. B Hop durability is A+. B hop hurt Kov when he landed but didn't trust it. Froch loses easy to another American.
