this fight will never happen, even if they fight is signed and have conferences and crap, one of them will pull out of the fight due to an "injury" and the fight will be postponed for a while then one will need a tune up match to get ring rust off and we will be back to square one all over again.

Well, someone has to announce it soon... May 2nd is coming up real short and the fighters will have less than 3 months to prep/train for the fight. What a joke, they should have negotiated it all in January and had it announce in the first week of Feb.

I don't think the fight is going to happening, I could only hope it does as it will bring excitement back into the boxing world.

Theyve been negotiating for months. I think it gets done in May but at this point they should move it back at least a couple weeks to allow for proper promotion and a full training camp for both fighters.

All the talking that Arum has been doing, I wouldn't let him have a damn thing. Bob Arum is a cancer.

It has to be frustrating getting pissed on by the media constantly, only for them to turn around and constantly prove that Arum has done nothing but spread lies.

Granted, Floyd isn't innocent in all of this, but I wouldn't expect him to give in a damn thing for Arum. Specifically the May 2 thing. It's my understanding that Mexicans don't give a **** about Cinco De Mayo. That's just Arum trying to throw up these "road blocks" that everyone keeps accusing Mayweather of.

You have to pick your battles bro. TR has conceded a lot in these negotiations and Arum has a point about leaving enough time to promote the fight.
