This is great news for us boxing fans. I really need to cancel my Showtime subscription I'm paying for nothing.

Godamn, i thought the budget would be a little tighter considering its his product.

As long as it's not YOUR money why care?
You're the one defending another man like a woman. I'd say it to your face as well

To your second point. I don't care at all. That my point. If it works great, if it dosent, oh well. I just don't see how it can. But I really don't care either way. That's not a hard concept to grasp.

you wouldn't do shi.t online warrior.

You cared enough to get all emotional by calling me names like a kid.

With 20 shows scheduled on NBC in 2015, that means that we should see approximately one show every two weeks beginning in March. Add that to the shows scheduled for Spike and possibly BET, and we should be seeing a quality boxing match every week for the entire year once it starts.

It doesn't matter what you think of Al Haymon, if you are a boxing fan, you have to be pleased with what he is doing. Of course, we won't see the best fighting the best every week, but we will get to see plenty of quality matchups during the year. If we see five quality fights between top quality opponents in 2015, that will be two more than we saw in 2014.

Yeah I think he over paid Guererro because of the risk associated with Thurman but it seems whether it's on his dime or not he wants his fighters to get paid.

Speculation on my part but Haymon is about power so it makes sense in the short term to take short money if in the long run you control all the players in the game there's probably a better return that way in the long run.

You should hope that this effort is successful because both the fans and the boxers and their families will benefit. The only parties who stand to lose in this situation are greedy, scumbag promoters like Arum and Don King.
