Haymon's not about to let one of his guys lose to another fighter he doesn't own. He's just starting a $100 million dollar transition with his PBC series, he's need to keep his fighter's stock high. I think Oscar knew this and just did this to squeeze some more money out of Al. To match up Cruz with Rigo instead of Framption, Quigg, or Mares first would be a dumb move.

Heck, Haymon has favorites in house as it is. I don't think Peterson, Guerrero, or Molina have prayer outside of a KO from winning their fights.
