That's why LSC should refrain from mentioning names from now on. He should know by now that fights don't just happen. You make them happen. If he and Haymon are not in sync, what's the point of calling out names? And who exactly are you addressing when you mention names? Is it not Haymon? So why don't you tell him? Who exactly do you expect to make these fights for you? Ellerbe?

He only name drops people to save face and try to dupe dumb ass Mexicans into thinking he actually wants to fight these people.

Every few months, he changes the name of who he wants to fight. First it was Frampton....then Quigg....then Rigo....then back to Frampton then back to Rigo. All the while he has no intention of fighting any of them and fights taco vendors instead.

Any response from the Santa Cruz camp yet? Is it confirmed that Haymon is blocking the fight? I mean do you accept that these Haymon fighters are virtually powerless when it comes to choosing their next opponent? Or it's just a convenient excuse?

It can't be confirmed, but this whole "don't blame Haymon" crap is comical. When these fighters say "it's up to my manager Al Haymon," it means he has influence on them. He plays the role of manager, adviser, and now a promoter. He has smart people in his employ and matchmakers that surely convey their thoughts to him. His influence among his fighters is not to be overlooked, but if the fighter is displeased with the competition he's facing they could say something about it. These fights are mutually decided imo.

Besides, LSC-Rigo isn't a fight that favors his man, I can't recall the last time Haymon dealt with another manager/promoter unless his money guy was almost sure to win (I suppose Loma-Russell, but that was ordered by some sanctioning body)
