Comments Thread For: Warren: Eubank Must Beat Chudinov To Get Saunders

CHRIS EUBANK JR has been told he has no chance of a rematch with Billy Joe Saunders if he does not impress on his next outing.

The middleweight star takes on Russian Dmitry Chudinov for the interim WBA title on February 28 in London.

Eubank, 25, lost his last fight against Saunders back in November.

Saunders is now on course for a shot at WBO middleweight king Andy Lee.

Lee - Eubank Jr would be a beasty fight, hope it ends up that way. Eager to see what Jr's chin is like, can't imagine Lee would have too much trouble countering eubanks massive swings with that thudding left hook.

      I agree.

I think a number of UK and European MW's expose Eubank Jnr.

Lee, Sullivan, even Nick Blackwell and Jon Ryder.

Don't put Andy Lee on par with them no hopers, Blackwell, Sullivan and Ryder could all easily be beaten

Andy Lee is a cut above.

But I still think the other fighters I listed are competitive against Eubank Jnr.

          Spike Sullivan beats him IMO.

Eubank Jr. did more than ok against BJS and almost pulled off a win. It was obvious watching him though that he still has a lot to learn.

He has good punch variety and fast hands but he couldn't get his hands and feet moving in synch to close the distance and hit BJS when he was moving fast.

That's a skill that only comes with practice and sparring - the right kind of practice and sparring. I hope his handlers have been addressing this.

Jr. has all the physical attributes a boxer needs. But he's moving up in class now with the opponents he's going to be fighting - guys who also have all the physical attributes, plus the technique and experience to make them count.

Wasn't the Lee/Saunders/Quillin love triangle supposed to be resolved yesterday?

he doesnt have to win, warren can get him a top 15 ranking by geting him one of those european wbo titles. Anyway chudinov is going to beat him.
