The only one calling out welterweights,is the diva cotto himself,wanting to fight mayweather or Bradley for the MIDDLEWEIGHT belt. The negotiations with canelo ended because cottos feelings were hurt,when canelo was calling him out on the newspapers. He lost against mayweather,and Pacquiao,got clowned by austin trout,and his biggest wins in the last 5 years have been against a one eyed margarito,and a old one legged Martinez,but suddently he thinks hes the king of the world? And get the **** outta here with that b*ll**** that GGG has to move up,just because the princess miguel decided to play middleweight. Golovkin is a NATURAL middleweight, trying to unify the division,while cotto is a blown up welter,using the wbc belt like a bargaining chip. May2.....so far. lol! Who ever Cotto fights for his first defense IDC. If he defends the belt especially against a real middleweight, then him and GGG can do a decent PPV. I'm pretty sure GGG would be willing to give Cotto everything he wants just to be able to try and KO Cotto on PPV. In Madison Square Garden. Take 70%. Take steroids! **** it! No drug test at all!

A Bradley fight is absolutely out of the question. I would give Cotto very little credit (if any) if he fought and beat Bradley at either 154 or anywhere above that. That fight would be atrocious if it was ever signed. Cotto is now an established 154 pounder who has the 160 lineal belt. Kudos to him for getting it, but unfortunately he is going to come under fire quick if he fights anyone that isn't at the very least a 154 pounder. I could see Cotto making Canelo move up, and I'm sure people will always find something to complain about (because really, these are forums), but Canelo/Cotto anywhere from 154-160 has marketability and isn't half bad...certainly more meaning than Cotto-Bradley.
