    Article on Roc Nation struggles

    Interesting tidbits:

We already knew Roc Nation liked trying to take Haymon's fighters, but they were pretty much trying to grab whoever. Evidently that's why Andrade became all high and mighty.

Their MSG card, supposedly, lost around 500k.....

Most already know, but HBO not interested in paying top dollar for Ward's tuneups.... but neither is Showtime evidently.

Decent read regarding Roc Nation boxing

They entered the game too late. Haymon's project was already in high gear and it will be damn near impossible to get one of those guys now.

Good read. Roc learning how the sport really works. Not as easy as it seems.

I thought the Shaw partnership was going to be a big deal.

Ward is in a tough spot.

They're trying to grab what's not available. They should be signing young guys to build up and go free agent hunting when they can.

They're trying to work with Cotto evidently too.

The signing of the Mexican prospect was nice

could this be JayZ's first failed business venture?

everyone will tell you "JayZ has never failed, so this will not fail", flawed logic imo.

Yeah seems like it. I can understand signing with roc but with haymon having so much power in the sport right now and the problems Jay had with haymon, things are not looking good for ward at the moment.

Losing quality staff hurts the company too.

I'm glad HBO and Sho are refusing Ward any tune ups. The dude is going to lose another year. Jay Z needs to pressure him into taking a fight people actually care about.

JayZ could make this work if hes willing to spend a ton of cash, and willing to lose money for a while.

Banner Promotions and Star Boxing, which co-promote Demetrius Andrade, was all set to face Jermall Charlo on*Dec. 13 on Showtime till Roc Nation whispered in his ear. Soon, Andrade was off that card and hasn***8217;t fought since. Other promoters have also complained about Roc Nation contacting their boxers
