First of all, 8 oz gloves are not "pillows." Second, you didn't answer the question. Where does it say anything about Mayweather forcing Pacquiao to wear gloves he doesn't want to fight with? That's the question.

Theres no mention of Pacquiao not be able to wear his glove of choice, all it says is that they agreed.

Everything that is released at this point or both sides attempting to affect negotiations. HBO released there statement in regards to the principals to the contract need to agree because they know that Showtime will have no leverage once the fight is signed. Hence the reason Floyd is holding off until HBO and Showtime come to an agreement. I personally think they should leave it up to the fans at this point. Release whatever HBO is doing to the public and tell the fans to boycott them just like we are going to boycott Floyd and Manny if the fight does not happen. If the fight does not happen because they are not willing to agree to the same deal they had for Tyson-Lewis just because there fighter is not favored. If this fight goes down in history ownership rights to this fight will be very lucrative. If Showtime could agree to it when the ball was in there favor HBO can do it now. We need to blow up HBO with threats. Especially if Floyd and Manny have met and agreed on everything. I will stream every single HBO and Showtime fight if they were the cause of the fight not happening and everybody is pointing the finger at HBO now.

an argument could be made either way. I agree to an extent, as i would be vry unhapoy wit BOTH sho and hbo if they couldnt work out a deal.
Lewis was app -180 and Tyson was app +140, whereas now floyd is -320 and Pac is +250.
So, circumstances aren't exactly the same. Maybe if Tyson was a Bigger dog, terms would've been different back then. Negotiate it and work it out.

Bro that's what I been saying lol the gloves was approved in contract issues came up when maidana custom pair was tried on by floyd horsehair could be easily moved to other areas of gloves that it will still be 8oz but could be all wraps you getting hit with that was pair that wasn't approved by nsac second pair was but Floyd had already said f that none of them gloves will be use payed him to adjust it in contract and use powerlock punchers gloves which is still less padding then what floyd wears
