    Better fight than that sh(t punchbag Chavez Jr who got outboxed by Brian Vera

    That fight wouldn't be exciting at all, Froch would outbox him worse than he did Abraham and come out without a scratch on him.

      Why not Golovkin in Nottingham?
      Because:
      1) Froch just vacated his IBF belt;
      2) When asked about, Froch somehow dismissed a GGG fight;
      3) I don't know if even Golovkin would take the big, strong and long-handed Froch as his first fight at 168.

        B-Hop is 50, he's coming off a beat down loss and does very little for Froch at this stage. Pointless.
        Froch isn't interested in 'his legacy' anymore though, at least according to himself.

        It's about a big payday to round off his career. Thing is, I'm not convinced Hopkins would even give him that anymore. Can't imagine the PPV sales would be very impressive.

        And to be honest, if the height of Froch's ambition is to sell out a stadium in Nottingham I'm not sure what he's fretting over the opponent for. He could do that against pretty much anyone for his retirement fight.

          Golovkin may be desperate for a big name after Murray, with the Cotto, Alvarez, Lemieux, WBO, IBF fights all possibly out of reach for 2015.

          With Golovkin/Murray on terrestrial tv during prime time in the UK, Golovkin could possibly make a big splash among fans there. That could parlay into strong UK ppv projections for a Froch/Golovkin clash. Hearn still has Wembly on hold for end of June.

            Froch looking for that "name" at home for an easy last payday.
            I can imagine this being a total and utter flop on PPV

              Froch-Golovkin would not do Wembley. They're talking about Froch-Hopkins for Nottingham and Hopkins is a lot more well known over here than Golovkin.

                  I never said they would or wouldn't make it. I said it would be a pointless fight and it would be.

                  You said Froch was "ducking" Hopkins so once again you mugged yourself off and made yourself look a right tit.

                      froch is one of my favorite fighters and this was a fight I wanted too see the fight in 2013. now im not really interested

                      I don't see any glory in it for froch anymore.

                      its a lose lose for froch now.

                      if froch wins, people will say b hop was 50 and just got beat up by kovalev. he was washed.

                      if froch loses, people will say he lost too a 50 year old Hopkins. who moved down in weight. froch is overrated.

                      Hopkins on the other hand, this is the perfect fight for his last fight.
