i love manny, but this potential fight (i hope is just that, potential) sucks, come man, who cares if he is the wba champion. a fight with vargas is on par with the algieri fight.

We all know the Mayweather fight looms. What if the plan is to preserve Manny until the Mayweather fight comes to fruition. Preserve what Pac has left to maximize his chances of defeating Floyd. At this stage does Manny need to be in another war? Possibly lose and completely kill the Mayweather fight? Is that what we want?

I think Arum knows that if Floyd fight can't be made, they need a decent opponent. Pac v Vargas would do 250 ppv buys, tops. Khan, or Matthyse or Provodnikov. Thats why Matthysse v Provodnikov hasn't been announced, bc if Arum can't get Khan, he's going for 1 of these 2

Matthyse/Provo fight will be announced any day now I don't think he gets khan cause haymon will always dingle may name over his head that's why I think Vargas speaking out now arum and his manager probably been in discussions recently just my opinion though
