Uh...one guy is a ranked contender by all the sanctioning bodies who just hasn't had his chance yet.

The other guy was ranked by none of the sanctioning bodies, never fought at 140, wasn't even in the top 75 of his own weight class and hadn't beaten anyone in the top 100.

He's not Salka bad, but he's bad. He's definitely not in the top 15 at welterweight and possibly not even in the top 20.

He's Kell mandatory though, so you can't really complain.

I've seen Dan fight he isn't bad, I thought he won the first fight against Aydin was a good scrap. Didn't watch the rematch but heard that was razor close too.

It almost no way are Dan and Salka comparable. Dan is a step under world level he will drift between titles as mandatory challenger but may never be good enough to win (unless the stab affected Brooks really badly), Salka isn't anywhere close.
