Theirs a reason he ducked Brandon Rios and decided to go fight in russia in a alley! instead of fighting Rios at the staple center.

That face cant hold up to real power punchers. HE barley survived against pillow puncher bradley and he was messed up lmfao.
And rios claim to fame is losing to pac 12-0 and crying like a ho afterward lol

Provodnikov is a decent fighter. He's can crack. But he can also be hurt. Hell, Bradley hurt him. I think even Herrera hurt him. He's no boogeyman. He still beat Algieri. Mathysse is a good dangerous fighter. I'm just excited the fights being made. I expect Mathysse to be very careful though, not like you think he's going to walk through Provo. I don't agree.

Alvarado can punch, he's not Matthysse but he can punch.

He might not be a great boxer, but if John Molina can trouble Matthyssee, I don't see why Ruslan can't.

See, is not that Ruslan is a machine, is that Matthysee isn't either. He has lost all his big fights other than Peterson.

Lucas wins because he should given his better skills, but he's not levels about Ruslan if we go by how they have performed in big fights.

Lucas fans acting like Lucas is some skilled boxer or a mini Kov. Yes he has power but so does Ruslan. This isn't gonna be a fight about thinking and moving. You'll see how tough Ruslan is. If Molina made Lucas do the booty do then of course Ruslan can too

              For real.
Must got you confused with some other Lucas fan. I could've swear was you.

Hate this line, because he has only lost one fight which he was winning until a weird injury (in terms of how it happened).

I am sorry you don't think much of him. I like him and think he is just as tough as advertised. I offer as proof his good fight with Bradley. You don't do that to Bradley unless you're tough. Unfortunately for him he is fighting Matthysse who is the toughest guy around fighting at 140.

I know what that sounds like. I get it; that's reductive.

But I've been thinking about this. If Lucas had all this power and boxing skills to dominate B+ guys, how come he doesn't? I think the Devon, Zab, and DSG fights were close, but other guys didn't leave a doubt beating Devon and Zab. As far as DSG and the eye thing, that's a tough break. But he still hit DSG with his best punches and DSG did not fold.

All I am saying is that it can't be all coincidence that he can't seem to put it all together when it truly matters--for various reasons, fair or unfair. So, I don't see why he's supposed to run over Ruslan. Maybe he does (as he should given his power and boxing), but I am not confident nor should be.

Trust me, I wanted Lucas to be great but he hasn't really proven it.

See I don't, and that's where we part.

On Garcia, he was breaking him down, his Dad was getting worried in the corner and then Danny got that break he needed. DSG was hurt after that fight and may have been hurt more during it if Lucas hadn't had that swollen target on his face and 50% vision.

Just my take, but I think Provodnikov is very good. I'm not one of these silly people who say he's a bum etc. He may run over him but that's not what I'm predicting, it'll be tough to beat him.
