                So he can't train properly for a couple of days. Fair enough if the fight was in the next week or so but he isn't fighting until March 21st. It is currently February 2nd.

                      If it's a bad case it can take a couple weeks to fully recover to the point where you're able to start training hard again. Then again, Walters was fighting a soft-touch in Rameriz. Somebody should play him the GGG pre-fight footage against Rosado for inspiration.
