oh? You would rather have canelo fight kirkland who didn't fight at all last year and only once in 2013 instead of clottey? who btw had a contract signed to fight canelo until canela got a lil boo boo on his foot. So instead of reupping that fight to a later date, he completely ignores clottey and signs up kirkland instead. Yea what a "warrior"

Arum is on record saying Cotto didn't like Canelo calling him out during negotiations and "insulting" him, and thats why he wasn't humoring a Canelo fight. How can you defend this diva?

i remember that comment. It was "according to arum". Cottos manager said that canelo didn't want to wait until tuesday. Dont mix them up.

C'mon man, Clottey is a tough dude but he would be like a punching bag in there with Canelo. Everyone was trashing that fight. Canelo had to scrap that fight for the sake of the fans it was a very unpopular, unwanted fight. At least Kirkland some sort of value right now and will let his hands go.

This is not a knock on Clottey. He's just a somewhat Slight high risk(don't even know of if you can call him that,) EXTREMELY LOW REWARD. Like why is anyone fighting him? He needs to build his name (back) up. Kirkland has been a threat at JMW for at least 5-years.

Of course Cotto's manager is going to sugarcoat it. Oscar stated that they had 5 deadlines and Cotto continued to stall. When asked, Arum said that Cotto got offened and broke off talks.

Cotto's problem is that he thinks he's a much bigger attraction than Canelo and can dictate everything.

What motive does Arum have to lie? He was set to profit off of this fight as he was acting as Cotto's promoter for this bout.

Listen, EVERYONE KNOWS HE DUCKED CANELO. EVERYONE. It's like a fact or something. Might even end up on his Wikipedia page if he retires without facing him.

Canelo has tried to make this fight about 3 times now. Cotto has never been interested. He doesn't need Canelo apparently. He just needs the Delvin Rodriguez's of the world and a blown up jww in Bradley to solidify his career. He's only heralded by the delusional patriots that defend his coward faggotry and mediocre wins by all means necessary. Don't argue with them as they have nothing to lose. The time that they're unbiased doesn't exist.

These CottoBumsniffs can't understand this, All they see is "well cotto beat Clottey, why can't Canelo beat him?" You mean that questionable gift they gave cotto? Clottey was such a **** fight, Kirkland is 10X more the dog that Clottey is. He will actually come to fight and not do that lame "turtle shell" defense and leave all the work to canelo, like lara did.
