What did you guys think of the PBC commercial on NBC?

Not hoping for the sport to fail based off my disdain with one man isnt a differing opinion. It's called being a mature ****ing human. Not a petty women.
So I dont really get where you're coming from. Petty women.Comment

Good promo given nbc couldn't use hbo or sho highlights. Program looks promising. I wonder what the responses would be if someone else was doing this?Comment

Yeah that's one that bugs me out. Some people have fair opinions and others are just wishing it fails or wanna diss it because it's the evil Al Haymon. He gave us Garcia-Salka! Forgetting that he also gave you Garcia-Khan, Garcia-Judah, Garcia-Matthysse, etc. Ok we get it.Comment

Free fights for the masses BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The guy doesn't give interviews!!!!!
More Latin Furys and Pinoy Powers please.
If anyone else outside of Mayweather/Haymon and maybe post Poland Hitler were bringing Boxing back to the masses this place would build a statue for that person. Since it's Haymon, lets hope it fails and maybe in another 15 years boxing could get a chance like this again.
The hate is strong when the hardcore base is cheering for their favorite sport to fail just so they can have a chuckle at the expense of 1 man.
And honestly, which post in here even implied they wished for Haymon to fail? You're creating strawmen.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 02-02-2015, 05:10 PM.Comment

I completely disagree with everyone here. You guys are speaking for yourselves as hardcore fans. Commercial wasnt great, but it shows the characters of boxing in a way and casuals want that part of it. You have to be interested in the person before the sport.
And I doubt Haymon made or had say in this commercial. It's more likely a NBC production crew.
People are being far too critical. When was the last time we had these caliber of fights on network tv? Far too critical. Give it a ****ing chance. SHow some support to the sport and put your petty ass women bs to the side for a second. For ****s sake. I feel like boxing fans refuse to let things suceed with their worshipping.
Al Haymon is bad news and is likely to do more harm than good.
I'm not hoping for him or the sport to fail, the opposite really,
just reminding others why you shouldn't get your hopes up so early,
that's all.
If he proves me wrong, like I said, I'll give the man props.
Maybe I am being a bit too critical but he's earned it.
We'll just have to agree to disagree and leave it at that.Comment

With a$$hole fans of the sport like many in this thread, no wonder boxing isn't on free tv.Comment

I'm not sure what I'm more impressed by, your wearing or your criticism of women.Comment
