I don't know man, I feel like big punchers don't get credit for beating average punchers. Look at the backlash at Thurman for getting a decision in his last fight. Total domination, yet people are denigrating him. And honestly does anyone really think he wouldn't beat him? Vlasov battered him that one round, I'm sure beterbiev would finish him much earlier.

Beterbiev should have grown a pair and fought Chilemba. No doubt he'll be in with someone easier to hit for his next fight.
I agree, I also think kovalev is a much better fighter than beterbiev and knew he could out box those guys. This guy doesn't have the same confidence.

Then they should take the fight, Chilemba is #7. GYM won't find a better top 10 LHW willing to fight him.

why should he target kovalev when the other champ is his promotional stablemate superduck? I think it's easier to make that fight, I like beterbiev but michel should stop this puppet show

Lol yes, but doesn't mean he will walk over chilemba. It's possible chilemba makes him look bad even if he wins. Hey I'm pissed about it, I plan on driving I over to Montreal for the kovalev fight. I was looking forward to them making this fight.

Because Beterbiev is loyal to SHO. Just like Kovalev is loyal to HBO. What is wrong with that?

Pretty sure Chilemba would have fought on Sho?

Beterbiev has beaten just as good of competition that Kovalev did before he got his title shot. You didn't have a problem with him practically going straight to Hopkins after beating no one of note, so why you got a problem with Beterbiev doing the same? I understand you like the guy but its ok if he gets knocked out after he just got all his belts.

before his last fight "I want kovalev i will destroy him!"

then after getting dropped by a bum "I need to earn my shot, It's the fair thing to do."
