I used to be a huge fan of cotto, but he's definitely lost me as a fan over the last couple months. He used to be the guy who took on all challengers, now he's the guy who ducks and prices himself out of fights. Fame and money change people. He backed out of a career high payday against canelo because he thinks he will get the mayweather fight and he's probably right. But that screws the fans out of fights we want to see. Cotto-canelo and pacquiao-mayweather are huge fights and it looks like we wont ever be seeing either of those fights because of the boxing divas cotto and mayweather. Pacquiao is the peoples champ and I am looking forward to him taking his ppv crown back this year. Obviously the mayweather fight would be the best but if mayweather ducks this time screw him. Nobody will watch himanynore and Manny will own the ppv market simple as that.

[QUOTE=jjsmyth87;15340938]That's hilarious considering he completely sold out the stubhub center his last fight. He also does huge ratings on HBO and is just waiting for a ppv worthy opponent. Ggg cotto would be huge, but cotto just ducked canelo and already said he wasn't interested in fighting ggg. He said he would rather fight Bradley. Is obvious mayweather is going to fight cotto because mayweather is also ducking pacuiao. That still be the duck fight of the century[/
Why would cotto duck bum ass cabelo?? And it was Canelo that backed out. Let cottos balls breath. Your hugging them to much

In my eyes he became scared after he obviously ducked canelo. I used to be a huge cotto supporter but he let his ego get in the way of Maki g that big fight. He was already getting more than 50/50 which would have made him more money than a fight against mayweather, except a loss against canelo would be much more damaging to his career than a loss to mayweather, which is why he is scared in my opinion. He used to be the guy who took on everyone, now he is playing those haymon games by going for the least risk. But I guess he knows himself, he really isn't elite. If mayweather and pacquiao are A level fighters cotto will always be a B plus and that's just the facts

Why would Cotto ducked Canelo if Canelo hasn't even looked sharp as of late? He has arguably lost 3 of his last 4, so what is there to fear?

So if you were in his position you would fight canelo instead of Mayweather? Cut it oyt, yourw reaching.. cotto beats Canelo easyyy.. Cotto never ducked anybody bow all of a sudden he's scared of flat footed "over rated" cabelo.. you're reaching waay to much.

I wish this fight gets made just to see what the excuses are going to be on why COTTO WON. GGG is good but he never had to worry about getting hit back by these c level fighters he's always fought. Meanwhile Cotto is battle tested.
