Pacquiao had just taken two losses in 3 fights and Mayweather never fights opponents that are coming off of losses. His name is Floyd not Manny. Lol.

Bob Arum has been trying to keep the fight from happening since 2009. So when he says he won't work with Arum its for that reason.

Like I already said, Mayweather made a rhetorical statement about Pacquiao needing to fight on Mayweather promotions because Arum had been making Pacquiao's recent opponents leave their promoters and sign with Top Rank to fight Pacquiao. And as we all know Arum has been trying to block the fight from happening since 09'. Saying that Mayweather calling and offering Pacquiao 40 million of his own personal money to fight is somehow him not wanting the fight is the epitome of tale spin. 40 million is the highest guaranteed purse in the history of the sport. As far as the PPV deal goes, Pacquiao just hung up the phone and didn't even try to negotiate or counter his offer. So he couldnt have wanted to fight that much. And Mayweather never fights anyone that is coming off of a loss. So why would you expect him to try to make a fight with Pacquiao after he was brutally ko'd the way he was against Marquez. 1- May raised steroid testing that had NEVER been done bf EVER . Pac should've agreed, BUT, may made a roadblock to a fight, s roadblock that had never been raised in the history on the sport.
2- I know he went on vacation, but he was on vacation for over a yr, whenever pacs name was mentioned. Lol
3 - purse split is a lie. Lol. May offered a flat fee! And then said he made manny a legit offer. Purse split was a HUGE issue

basically, whenever Mayweather was asked about fighting Pacquiao, his response was not, let's get it on or I want that fight. There was always a reason or excuse as to why it couldn't happen. Anyone that doesn't blame both sides really has no clue as to what happened over the past 5 yearsComment
