why does Arum have any issue with Cinco De Mayo week for the fight?

Manny fought Mosley and Hatton during the week of Cinco De Mayo..

So in other words, Espinoza was telling the truth all along and Arum was lying all along. What a surprise!

arum wasn't lying about pacs team agreeing to floyds demands, otherwise if these demands were false we would've heard from floyd regarding these. all we heard from him or espinoza is they're still working on makng the fight. and i think the issues are with the networks.

Nope. Only those reporters who aren't actively involved with the sport might call out Arum, but the journalists who only cover boxing will not dare to call Arum out( Steve Kim, Dan Rafael, etc). You have to give him props. He knows how to win PR battles.

He was lying insinuating that everything was done and that Floyd was holding up the fight.

What jostling has come from Floyd Mayweather Jr?

The terms have basically been the same terms, with the purse split changing as Mayweather's PPV business outpaced Pacquiao's PPV business (the two losses, one by face-first knockout, didn't help Pacquiao either).

Mayweather wasn't the one demanding that a brand new stadium needed to be built, or that a training camp cut would need six months to properly close up, or that fighting on Cinco de Mayo (a holiday with far more impact stateside than it does in Mexico) was somehow disrespectful.

Now he's throwing out the "awshucks, there isn't enough time to properly hype the fight" excuse?

what i said. his previous statements were regarding their agreement to floyds demands. arum is neither hbo nor showtime so he cant speak for them. but guess who's the one person busy trying to work this out with the networks?

                      you got that right.
