Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman on 'Guerrero is Ducking' Statements

WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith "One time" Thurman (24-0, 21KOs) finally got his man. For the last twelve months, Thurman was calling out several fighters - including former multi-division champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs). On March 7th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Thurman and Guerrero will collide in an NBC televised fight as part of Al Haymon's new 'Premier Boxing Champions' series.

This kid is hilarious. Once Haymon put the money up he got the fight. Nobodies running from this guy. You pay your opponent 90k you get Diaz. You pony up real money and you'll land a real opponent. Which is what happened here.

Thurman better watch getting over confident or ****y. He is not as big a Favourite to win as what he seems to think. RG is not coming to lay down and pick up a pay cheque.
I'm picking RG to out hussle KT en route to a points decision. It will be back to school for Keith.

It does not matter who wins. I think is a great match up, great for the fans. This fight will show where keith really stands.

I think Thurman takes it fairly comfortably in a rather uneventful fight.
10-2 type decision, possibly a late stoppage.

Guerrero bests this fool in 12 rnds, esperience wise Guerrero has been in with some good fighters, better fighters than Keith has faced.

Guerreros mauling and inside action could be too much for Keith, either way I think it goes to a decision in Guerreros favor, hopefully there wont be as much fishy scoring on Als PBC series

Since when did people start downplaying Gurerro's boxing ability? just because he likes to make it ugly he can't box?
