I strongly disagree with Jeff. And my opinion is pretty much the opposite of popular opinion. I think Pac's chances are much better now than they would have been back 2009. I see it as almost an even fight now, giving Floyd a slight edge. Back 2009, I saw it as a laughable mismatch almost.

There is going to be a straight up race riot at the MGM after Mayweather beats the stuffing out of Pacquiao. With all of the hatred in the air and the kind of stuff people post on these comment boards I definitely would not want to be in Vegas on the night of the fight. It's going to be chaotic and dangerous.
Ok, are you ok with the other Dloyd supporter here with the meme of "do you understand the words that coming out off my mouth?" Or it's just when someone put a meme on black people?

Come on, man. You should know better than that. These comparisons can be made all day long. I could tell you Pac went life and death with a guy 4 times that Mayweather made look like an exhibition. And got put to sleep in one of them.

Mayweather is a great fighter but he's not invincible like his cheerleaders make him out to be (apart from his usual slow, flat footed hispanic opponents), he's overrated like Jay Z.

Eminem is better than Jay Z but black people say Jay Z is better because they see him as a black role model, it's similar with Mayweather.

So I guess that makes you a redneck prejudiced aryan nation klu Kluks klan cross burning attending in bred hill billy.
No one is invincible. But Pacquiao is definitely going to lose against Mayweather. Maidana got beaten even though he was trying to cheat and fight dirty. He is a limited fighter. That's why he fights so dirty. But he is good at it.
Hip hop music comes from the black experience in America. Rednecks like you wouldn't even listen to hip hop before eminem came along. So eminem is better than Jay Z like Elvis is better than Chuck Berry like Eric Clapton is better than B.B. King like Kenny G. Is better than John Coltrane. All because they are white and their so called inferiors are black and this society was created on racism.

I also give Floyd a slight edge over Manny if they really fight, but if Manny landed those hard punches and Floyd start respecting his power? It'll be a chess match, boring to some but very interesting to others. It won't be toe to toe that's for sure, Floyd will try to use all his advantage over Manny. He is taller and has the longer reach, so you'll see a lot of jab, shoot down the middle, straight right, clinch, run in circle, with some elbows when they get close, repeat and rinse. Only chance of Manny's landing his shots is by fainting and shooting his straight left for Floyd to reset and be on the defensive stance, once he's on that stance? Fire away, I know it's easy to said than done, but that's the only way I can see Manny get close to him and land his shots. Unless of course Freddie will come up with a perfect strategy and Pac executes them with perfection.

I didn't even see that so I don't know what you're talking about. I have a problem prejudice period. The two statements are not equal anyway. One is talking about language barrier and the other one is saying that black people "stank"! So of course I have much more of a problem with the one that says black people "stank"? I am black. So of course I don't like hearing people say stuff like that about my people. Leave it up to a Pacquiao fan to try justify one racist statement by mentioning another.

Floyd isn't going to take the fight because he knows he would have to work his ass off in the ring to get the W. It's all about working smarter, not harder at this point of his career as he's said on record many times (and BFF 50 Cent has reiterated). You can't beat Manny being on your back foot and throwing a pot shot here and there. Everyone who tried that strategy has lost wide, easy decisions against him. Even if he only lands 20% of his punches, he'd still win on activity alone, that would make Pac's job easy.

Marquez is a counter puncher, but he had to FIGHT Manny just to keep up on the scorecards (and he's 1-2-1 against him). He ate a ton of leather and tasted the canvas many times, and was on his way out before that one in a million punch. If Floyd is planning on covering up and maintaining his health, laying on the ropes, etc like he did when he barely squeaked past Chino Maidana.... then he's going to lose a very wide decision. It'll be Pac-Clottey or Pac-Algieri all over again.

Do you stink cause you're black? If not, why worry about it? One is stereo typing about hygiene, one is stereo typing about language barrier, so which one is more racist comments? Bad hygiene doesn't discriminate, language does.

They are both bloody pathetic so I'll go with that answer.

Definitely not an even fight but I do agree that Pacquiao had less of a chance of winning in 09'. For whatever that's worth. Mayweather had just come off of dominating Juan Manuel Marquez who had been chasing a rematch that Pacquiao seemed to be avoiding at the time. And many ringside observers felt that Pacquiao had lost his last fight against Marquez. Pacquiao had just beaten Cotto but we all know and so did team Pacquiao that Cotto was at an all time low at that point in his career. He had just two fights previous been beaten with a cast by Margarito and barely squeaked by Joshua Clottey. He was quite ripe for the picking. Such was not the case with Mayweather. So psychologically he had a greater edge over Pacquioa than he does now. It's no wonder Pacquiao and Arum found a way to avoid the fight with Mayweather. They were looking for ripe fruit and Mayweather was not that. In 09' they never wanted any parts of Mayweather no matter what anyone says.
