Ok what i meant was i see fighters signing with Haymon type outfits amd getting dates. But since Haymon doesnt promote i see them using dibella, duva for small and GBP/TR for bigger fights. Fighters wont sign to promotional companies but will still get push cause they are promoting fight.

Sorta like haymon has fighters and puts fights and promotional bid on them.

Ofcourse this would be my selling point to foghters signing with me instead of a GBP/TR so its just opinion.

As far as Showtime, it's not like he's stopped doing business with them. He practically revived their sports programming. They got the highest grossing fight in boxing history already and are on the verge of breaking that with Mayweather-Pacquiao. Plus, they'll be showing fights on CBS Sports and all of those boxers on NBC are contracted to fight on Showtime this year as well. Screwing? Not in the slightest.
Actually, it was Top Rank who revived SHO's pay per view by taking Pacquiao-Mosley over there.

I wouldn't call that fight it's revival. But I get what you mean.

We all know Bob was the bird that got in Oscar ear, Oscar should have never had that lunch with him. I think GBP would have been the primary promotional banner that housed "Haymon events" and benefitted from the NBC deal. From a moral standpoint, after hearing Oscars side, thats effed up what Schaefer allowed-basically gave Haymon all that talent. From a business stand point, its just business. Still effed nonetheless & a sheisty move by Haymon, bob himself was probably impressed and woulda done the same. At the same time, the fighters maximize their earning power with haymon, and in the aspect- you gotta give it to Haymon.

Glad were seeing Oscars side and theres no denying that he does put up the best fights as possible. Cant help but respect his mission statement and i wish the best for GBP. Ill continue to support GBP.

The way I see it, NBC will show a lot of great fighters, but fights that used to be PPV worthy like Danny vs Broner will go to Showtime, and huge fights like Pac/Mayweather will be PPV. It will be like the olden days.
I don't think so dude. I'm sure SHO is not very pleased that Broner vs Molina, Guerrero vs Thurman, and Garcia vs Peterson are not going to be televised on their network. Give it about a couple of years and Steven Espinoza is going to start bad mouthing Haymon, that is if he still has a job by then.

Arum may not be a saint and all, but I don't think he is as bad as Haymon, Arum has shown a lot of commitment towards HBO, Haymon on the other hand has been ditching networks left and right and that's bad for business, he is burning too many bridges

Oscar was having too many screwups in his personal life to pay proper attention to his company.

But at the same time it was shady as hell how Schaefer and Haymon had all these fighters operating under the GBP banner without actually signing them to GBP. Those are mobster tactics, and I often wonder if it wasn't those two who had something to do with getting Oscar involved with drugs and with women who would blackmail him. That's what mobsters do, after all.

I'd love to hear Oscar comment on that or have some reporter ask him if there was any dirty business going on behind the scenes.

In any case I'll continue to support him and hope he can regrow GBP.

Wish him the best, to be fair if Richard wasnt a back stabber oscar would still be on top right now but eh what can you do it happened now its in rebuild mode. he will be alright he will get most mexican boxers i read he signed like 4 fighters this past week. so he started from the jump floor again might be 5 years till we see oscar back on top again.
