For some reason I seem to perk up the most when I hear Matthysse is fighting, but Kovalev is pretty close.

I don't deny Golovkin's skill but I can't really say any of his fights have had me on the edge of my seat.

He seems to just break guys down psychologically then put them out of their misery, similar to Wlad (although their styles are different).

That's impressive but it's not exciting in the same way as Lucas and Sergey, who have a degree of recklessness.

Tend to agree, there's something methodical about Golovkin, whereas Kovalev and Matthysse are wild loose cannons.

I like watching Brook, Pac, Mayweather, Rigo and many others, but those 3 are gaurenteed entertainment.

Good points. I do think Golovkin's fights are generally underwhelming. What he does is obviously hugely impressive, but in the end it's just a guy stalking and smashing another fighter to bits with an air of inevitability. The action itself can be a bit dull.

I don't think Kovalev is reckless, but I do think he is spectacular in full flow. As I've said many times, in terms of his ability to throw punches in bunches with power in both hands, he's possibly the closest thing I've seen to a pre-2008 Pacquiao.

He's not quite as devastating, but he is a fair bit more technical and precise. A really great fighter to watch.

Marquez and Cotto are usually in exciting fights.

I don't enjoy watching hulk Marquez as much as the old Marquez who had subtle but brilliant footwork.

Cotto, like Khan, is almost always fun to watch.
