Both guys can crack and both guys can be hurt, if Ruslan gets inside it's gonna get ugly if he starts letting those hooks off.

Mathysse needs to control the distance and counter like he was doing Danny rounds 1-6 and he could cruise to a decision. But if Ruslan gets inside and starts landing those hooks I think Mathysse folds.

Let me see, ruslan has a mean body work, punches hard, and likes stationary targets....against a great puncher, solid boxer, who nonetheless touched the canvas 3 times his las 3 fights.

More importantly, this is boxing. Of course Ruslan has a chance. Lucas should win but he has lost every single fight against top opposition other than Peterson.

This is a coin flip to be honest. Maybe a slight edge to matthysse because ruslan has to come down to 140.

Matthysse has tighter and better technique so logic dictates he should win, but Provodnikov struggles with movers, not a guy who will stand in his range and fight him. It will be a war and I very much doubt it goes the full 12. It could very likely be the kind of war where neither guy is the same after.

It should be a fun fight for the first 3 or 4 rounds. Ruslan is gonna have to go for broke and try to push the fight and try to work himself in the inside. Matty is going to have to maintain his distance and let Provo walk into punches. Its only goimg to take a few punches and I think Provo is going to start doubting and over thinking his plan of attack. Matty well ice him in less than 7 rounds. Provo has a solid punch but he doesn't have that kind of one punch ko power like Matty does and thats going to be the difference here

Had to do more with Danny's chin surprising people in my opinion. I am a Swift fan and knew Danny was gonna win but hey... people doubted Swift and they always will.
