Plus, he's looked beatable on more than a few occasions (Trout, Lara, Mayweather...)

I can only "lol" at the suggestion of Alexander, Bradley or Ortiz (yes, I was in that camp) as the next superstars.
Bradley, Alexander, and Ortiz are good fighters. you can add khan, Kell brook and Thurman to that list.

They are elite I believe, but they can't rise above one another because their talent level is too close. If there is anyone that can rise above the rest of the pack it's Khan and Alexander. I think they beat most of their peers more times then not as they are the most complete.

Joking aside, Floyd doesnt necessarily have trouble with with southpaws doe, he has a bit of difficulty with fighters who have a nice jab in general. Whicg will keep his signature str8 right at home. And feints.

I completely disagree here. He had a tough time with judah. He got hit with a few left hands against judah, and was knocked down by a right hook. Judah's left hand is the poor mans version of mannys.

Given the current sate of things, the sport needs this fight to happen. There are lots of good match ups out there but none of this caliber. Boxing needs its Super Bowl to happen. Sign it!

There needs to be a follow up star/series that carries boxing.
yea people are putting too much stock in this fight, and if it ends up being a boring UD people will say floyd sucks this that and the 3rd lol people might really end up mad when its all over

I guess he's lacking that REAL defining win.
Exactly. Although i respect his desire to face the best(major props) & fundamentally hes very solid, i just dont see anything he does exceptionally well that separates him from the crowd. With all his attributes, if he had a counter-punchers mind set,(timing, setting traps) i believe that would be the ingredient to do just that.

I know what ur saying, but did you see what set that left up? It was a right JAB to floyds mid-section, then zab feinted before shooting that right upstairs...are you sure it was a right hand? I thought Zab set up a left? Kinda similar to how floyd sets his straight right up? I could be wrong
