Who can beat Floyd?

You must be an idiot. A 39 yr old welter taking on a middleweight? And is comparable to Leonard taking on Hagler? Why not also add Leonard going up to light heavy?Comment

At 154 and under, it's Floyd all the way. But at 160, life gets a lot tougher. If he really wanted or needed that, I think he'd beat everyone except GGG -- and he might even pull that off. But at MW he'd never dominate more than two fights or so. He'd retire by then.Comment

he didn't bring it up because it's just different level of fighter. Leonard didn't give a **** about losing it comes with boxing. He took risks some times they work out sometimes they don't. I would applaud floyd so much if he did go up to 160.Comment

Floyd the barber? I figure Andy would have a great chance. Not sure about Barney Fife, though. Depends on if he gets to use the bullet in his pocket.Comment

Manny never claimed to be TBE. If FMJ wants that acclaim then he has to do more. Much more. Its not comparable , you people totally ignore weight except where Manny is concerned .
Hagler was also about to retire not near prime , Floyd is only 2-4 pounds different than Manny , these guys are not true WWs like Leonard Hearns who step in at around 160 , Pac and May step in at around 147-150 .
If you want Floyd to fight somebody then Manny can fight the same guy also so dont compare one and not the other .Comment

Ironically you actually just highlighted Floyd's problem while trying to defend him.
No doubts he is an amazing welterweight. But he is far from the best ever. TBE?
Look at what a guy like Sugar Ray Leonard did. He went from lightweight to light heavyweight and won titles. Hagler was a beast at middleweight and every bit as dangerous as GGG (actually I *might* pick that aging Hagler to beat the current GGG).
So I stand by my statement that FMJ challenging GGG is comparable to the risk SRL took when he fought Hagler.Comment
