Former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs was not too impressed with Deontay Wilder's title winning effort on January 13th, when he captured the WBC heavyweight championship with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Bermane Stiverne. Wilder knocked out all 32 of his previous opponents in four rounds or less.

Briggs hopes to face WBO/IBF/WBA/IBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in the fall - should Klitschko retains his belts in April against Bryant Jennings.

Briggs would be dangerous early on but he would gas out if he doesn't land a big one early. I would see Wilder out boxing Briggs in the first half of the fight and then stopping Briggs in the second half.
