Quillin beats Cotto, on size and height alone. Cotto has never fought anyone as big and tall as Quillin, the last time he had to fight someone who was significantly bigger than him he lost decisively(Trout). That being said if Cotto somehow beat one of the biggest coward in boxing("Golovkin should move up to 168"), I would forgive him for all the diva bull**** in the Canelo negotiations.

"boxrec warrior" lmao nice try to discredit me. All I mentioned murray was that he didn't fight GGG yet. I had macklin > STURM 115-113 and lets not act like if it was robbery of the year. I watched the fights and also had murray over martinez. Especially when the ref didn't call martinez being knocked down. Funny how you didn't mention anybody else that I put in my comment. Try again though. You're almost there.

Hes not my "hero" as you put it. I already had stated plenty of times that cotto needs to fight GGG or vacate and go back down to 154 lbs.

So that leaves quillin without a fight and since that new news about floyd vs pac, I'm positively hopefull that fight happens, would scratch floyd-cotto 2 off the table. On top of that Canelo-Kirkland is going to happen. You also have GGG-Murray already set... All that leaves is Cotto vs Quillin, in June, in MSG.

If GGG takes out Murray Quick Enough. GGG vs Cotto could become a reality much sooner than you think

This is a great fight for Quillin. He'll win and look good knocking a big name like Cotto the F-uck out. Hardcore fans won't give him any credit though. He'll just beat a smaller dude. Even the people that pick Cotto to win won't give Quillin his credit after he knocks Cotto out.

From Quillin's perpective I hope they make this fight happen.

Golovkin doesn't have 1 person on his resume better than probable hall of famer Winky Wright. Not one. And lets not even get started comparing Cottos resume to Golovkin.

I think Cotto beats him possibly stops him late.

Quillin is the significantly bigger man, has good pop at the weight, fights well from range, and would likely head into the fight fully healthy. You add that Cotto isn't some murderous puncher, and he walks into the fight disadvantaged on almost every aspect.

If you thought that Trout was a rough matchup, Quillin is a worse matchup.
