only way wilder beats wlad is if wlad completely becomes shot and a mummy over night.

highly unlikely. wlad fights totally differently now and never over commits with his right hand like he used to. wilder also isnt a southpaw and as good a counter puncher as sanders was. wilder can crack tho and wlad isnt getting any younger so he obviously will have that small chance of catching wlad with something big but I wouldnt bet the bank on it

Sanders was a guy that was rough and courageous and tried to get inside and cause damage as well as gunslinging from the outside. Wlad is no longer ****** enough to be reckless and allow huge punchers into that pocket where they can unload big bombs from all angles that you might not see and which cause the most damage. Plus the awkwardness of being a southpaw probably assisted Sanders in really giving Wlad big problems which he couldn't recover from.

Wilder has power but technically he isn't as good as Corrie, and also a Wlad-Deontay fight would be a fight on the outside...and right now I don't think anyone can beat Wlad on the outside, so yeah, Wilder could win...but it'd have to be a lucky punch and it won't be a Sanders-style stoppage if it happened.

            IMO.

It's says that barring a draw or no contest somebody's got to win and somebody's got to lose?

It says Wilder is the real deal and that Klitschko is 39 and not what he once was. Remember, Lennox retired at 37 and Ali already had parkinsons at that time.

Likewise if Wilder looks devastating, it will make him more credible.

But mainly this will be something you look back on years later...seeing if Wilder becomes an all-dominant force. A loss would be a blow to Wlad's legacy for sure, but it won't take away what he achieved, yet it will be important how Wilder would follow up a Wlad win to show how good Wilder really is. In this era even if he dominates I don't think anyone will rate him too highly anyway...so a Wlad win would be the best way for him to put his name in history.

                  But Wlad beats him anyways
Wlad's legacy is sealed no matter what happens now. 99.9% of heavyweight champs are retired of completely shot at 39.

Peter and Haye arguably are on that level of power as well.

Wilder is far from being competitive against VK. He will get there but has a lot to work on over the next year.
