Rios cotto would be a great fight. Cotto is an in and out fighter and Rios looks like he is using his length alot better, and was going In and out a little bit on Alvarado. Rios would put up a decent fight. If Rios pulls in one more fight with these kinds of numbers he could get a real big fight with any of the top guys at top rank. Bradley, cotto, Marquez, Terance Crawford at 140, Mikey Garcia is moving up but they share the same trainer. Chris algieri is signed to star promotions. I think algieri would beat Rios. Rios could fight provodnikov, that would do really well and be exciting. I'm looking forward to Rios next fight

Agreed...you would think those numbers for Rios/Alvarado would be even higher considering HBO has over three times the amount of subscribers that Showtime has...

Or, boxing is gaining new fans and bringing back old ones, hopefully shaking some of the poor fools who actually still watch MMA as if it could hold boxings jock strap.

That fight not gonna happen as much as we want it to happen, it just not. Haymon wont allow it on top of arum and haymon beef cause haymon has plans for ortiz and makes no real sense for Rios to fight Ortiz so his manager and promoter will steer him into bigger payday fights.

Thats exactly what it going to save him for probably give ortiz another bum to beat on to keep his name out there somewhat till its time to rematch the winner of berto/lopez

Mike needs a year off and then he can come back on ESPN.

I've learned this from Twitter -- some 8 hours ago.

                      Rios in tip-top shape

Garcia was right when he said they didn't find Alex Ariza more effective than they were, using the old-fashioned way of conditioning. One less expensive overhead.
