Agree with this. However, Cotto at least took the risk of challenging an over the hill Sergio which FLOYD would NEVER take. I thought Murray had beaten Sergio by one or two points. If Mayweather had any courage he would have challenged Sergio at 156 pounds and grabbed a sixth divisional title.

I really think if May-Pac won't happen and Floyd takes Cotto their will be payback from the Judges'. If Cotto wins four rounds he will either get a draw or maybe a split decision win. We've have seen worse decisions before as Lewis-Holy 1, Lara-Williams, and Pac-Bradley 1 just to name a few. Many people in the boxing industry will severely hurt if May-Pac won't happen, Showtime will take a beating. The Judges' can send a message to future fighters' about ducking by robbing Floyd.

Plus: it would also turn into a financial fiasco.

Floyd, dear: you better fight Khan!... At least it's something new and somehow "interesting"...
Unfortunately it wouldn't be the tombstone of anything. I've seen the people at Floyd fights wearing TMT ****. They don't even know or care who he's fighting, they just like that he's "the best" and shows his house and cars on TV.

If they invent an anti-aging pill Floyd could keep this up for another 1,000 years.

        Better rivalry, Mayweather-Cotto or Raymi-Maz?

        http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat...uman_id=561186

When it comes to using pointless rematches to inch your undefeated record to an arbitrary symbolic quantity it's pretty much a two horse race between Ali and Floyd

Sergio Martinez; I will come down in weight for Mayweather
Mayweather; He is too big because he is a middleweight

Golovkin: I will come down in weight for Mayweather
Mayweather; He is too big because he is a middleweight

Cotto; I will come down in weight for Mayweather
Mayweather; I will be middleweight champ

Still something tells me this fight will not happen either. Even if Mayweather gets everything in his favor.

I'm not doing anything other than reacting to about 20 threads about the same topic when there has been nothing from Mayweather or his camp saying they're pursuing a Cotto fight, or anything from Cotto's camp saying anything either.

I have no idea whats going to happen. I'm not going around making **** up, though. I know you're desperate, but come on.

Floyd is still telling us that Manny isn't a PPV draw..has he ever said that about an opponent he's actually faced in the right?

Everything points to Cotto being next including that he backed out of the Canelo fight...

You have to come to grips with the fact that when Floyd says "I can fight a couple duds at the end of the day... it's about working smarter not harder" that he actually means it...
Can you educate me on what role Lampley or De La Hoya have in Mayweather's camp or negotiations? What evidence of a Cotto match did they provide, or were they just asserting their opinions?

Nothing that you just said in your babbling post has 1 fact. Its opinion, but you keep running with it. Continue on.

"better fight khan"?? whos the ****** thick ****ox that said that?
this is the ONLY option. cotto (as i previously stated when everyone on here said he would lose knocked a very overated sergio martinez the fook out easily) is the best fight, its simple..hes bigger, more powerful, this is for the top spot at middleweight too! dangerous fight, floyd was hit in the previous outing and never really seen in the past so often and it clearly unsettled him.
hes showing everyone he can take on the bigger man,at the top of his game, has power and is an excellent and very skilled boxer.
hes been on the way up since his loss to floyd and manny has been badly knocked out. as fmj said before, why fight a guy whos been knocked out cold with single shots (at the time it was twice) now three times? cotto is the man to beat end of. previously it was martinez...what about that? every **** and his mum spoutin all that ole toffee! i would put miguel cotto in the worlds top 5 easily. aaaaaaaand, hes fackin earned it. that greedy little king nobody hasnt.
and no, alexander wasnt actually a proven world beater now was he.

wtf are you talkin about? an over the hill martinez? he was just overrated not over the hill you ****** ****!
he got the label over a single punch in the opener against the punisher.
not worthy of nothing in elite terms. a couple or three bums from over here who were nothing more than domestic fidder and hes the fackin king!
                  bell end. both yall.
