I'd advise everyone not to waste their time and energy trying to have an honest and objective discussion about Cotto if the user has puerto rican flags and/or old non active fighters from the island as his avatar/sig. You won't get anywhere past "I don't care what everyone says, Cotto almost beat Floyd". It's futile.

Im on record, in the event that Floyd ends up fighting Cotto, I want the fight to be at 160. I dont believe in catchweights set up to weaken opponents.

But I have to point that ALL of you guys creamed your pants for Canelo vs Cotto and that fight was gonna be at 155. Not one of you *****ed about that. I was the only one on the board who had a problem with it.

So 155 gets you guys jumping for joy, but 154.5 is unacceptable???

this is the ONLY option. cotto (as i previously stated when everyone on here said he would lose knocked a very overated sergio martinez the fook out easily) is the best fight, its simple..hes bigger,more powerful,this is for the top spot at middleweight too! dangerous fight, floyd was hit in the previous outing and never really seen in the past so often and it clearly unsettled him.
hes showing everyone he can take on the bigger man,at the top of his game,has power and is an excellent and very skilled boxer.
